Heart Of Home

Come Home to Yourself

A place where women and mothers can slow down, be deeply cared for, and reconnect with the feeling of their true selves through bodywork, Reiki, movement and community!

Welcome to Heart of Home...

Home is more than a place.

It’s a feeling.

It’s the feeling of taking a full breath without rushing. Of relaxing your shoulders without realizing they had been held tight. Of feeling safe enough to soften. Of being seen without needing to explain yourself.

So many women spend their lives creating that feeling for everyone around them while quietly losing it within themselves.

At Heart of Home, my hope is to help you find your way back.

Every offering—whether bodywork, energy work, mindful movement, gatherings, or workshop containers —is rooted in the same intention: to help you feel at home within your own body, connected to your own wisdom, and supported in the season you’re walking through.

This isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise, the stories, the responsibilities, and the expectations.

Returning to yourself.

Returning to your body.

Returning to the truth of how you are.

Returning home.

Why I Created Heart of Home -

For more than ten years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for people through energetic bodywork and holding sacred containers. I’ve witnessed how our bodies carry so much more than physical tension—they carry stress, grief, joy, responsibility, motherhood, transitions, portals, and the stories of our lives.

But it wasn’t until becoming a mother myself that I truly understood how deeply women need to be cared for.

After welcoming my first baby in 2017, I found myself longing for something I couldn’t quite find.

I needed someone to see me; to hold me.

I needed a place where I could exhale.

A place where I didn’t have to care for anyone else for just moment.

A place where someone asked how I was really doing—not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - and actually listened.

A place where I felt I belonged.

That longing planted the seed for Heart of Home.

I began imagining the kind of place I wished had existed for me—a place where women could arrive exactly as they are and receive thoughtful, whole-person care.

Not rushed.

Not transactional.

Not another appointment to check off the list.

But a gentle ritual of slowing down, reconnecting with their body, and remembering the feeling of home within themselves and within the wider web of other mothers.

In 2025 I birthed my third baby, and not having this need fully met in our new home here in Western North Carolina, I decided to bring my longtime vision to life. Today, every offering I create is rooted in love and the desire to help you find yourself.

Meet Abigail-

Hi there!!

I'm a mother of three sweet children whom my husband and I school at our home in Candler, NC.

I've spent over ten years working with clients and mothers through massage, Reiki and energetic bodywork, teaching yoga and hosting gatherings.

I believe that we all need others to fully see us so that we can fully see ourselves. Sitting in session and circle with women has taught me that being vulnerable and honest in front of others is the best way to truly know who I am. I am so grateful to have had such profoundly simple experiences with others.

I am a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT), Certified Reiki Practitioner and hold my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.

What women are saying...

You spend so much of your life creating a home for others. Let this be a place that helps you come home to yourself.

Whether you need rest, healing, movement, community, or simply a quiet place to be cared for, you're welcome here.

I would be honored to walk alongside you as you come home to yourself.

The Heart of Home Way

Everything we do is rooted in five simple values

Presence: Slowing down enough to truly see and hear one another.

Gentleness: Healing doesn't have to be forced. Often, the deepest transformation happens through softness.

Wholeness: We care for the whole person - body, mind, heart and spirit.

Rhythm: Healing isn't a quick fix. It unfolds through rhythms of rest, movement, receiving, and integration.

Home: Our deepest hope is that every woman leaves feeling more at home within herself.
